External Collaborator
Hailing from the formidable lands of suburban SoCal where 70% of residents blame the GOP for temperatures below 60 deg, Abinaya graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2015 and spent one year at the Hood Visual Science Lab as a full-time research fellow. She stayed at Columbia for med school and recently matched at the USC Roski Eye Institute for residency. She has two major life aspirations -- to become an ophthalmologist and to strut out of a dental checkup without any new cavities. She enjoys hiking, board games, mystery novels, and, on occasion, her brother. Regrettably, there is nothing interesting about her except that, 8 out of 10 times, she can sneeze with her eyes open.
